30 Year Old Nigerian Woman Passed On While Returning From Dubai

Tragedy has struck again as the year 2017 is about to wrap-up, freshly news broke out from The Murtala Muhammed International Airport by the Lagos Police Command that confirmed the death of a 30 year old, female passenger on flight EK 783 from Dubai over the weekend.

The passenger who was identified as Mrs Kofo Abaniwonda, reportedly to have passed on while returning to Lagos and her remains was then deposited in the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) before being released to her husband.

On monday Dec 18, 2017, the spokesman of the Lagos Airport Police Command, DSP Joseph Alabi, said "the flight arrived with the deceased unconscious and was immediately evacuated from the airplane" while speaking to newsmen.

Adding that:
"On arrival, the airline crew notified the medical team of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) but the deceased was confirmed dead by FAAN medical team."
The airline statement said:
 "Emirates can confirm that our cabin crew on board flight EK 783 from Dubai to Lagos on 15 December found a passenger unconscious in her seat, as the flight was preparing for decent.
Our cabin crew consulted doctors on board the flight and on the ground via Emirates’ Medlink system, however the passenger was unresponsive. Upon arrival in Lagos, the medical authorities on ground declared that the passenger had sadly passed away. Emirates expresses condolences to the family."
